TARU-MITRA- ECO CLUB (Friends of Trees)
Our school prabhat tara has a Taru-Mitra organization. It is run to support, nouriser and care the echo-balance in and around school. It works the most for awareness among students about elogical balance, green area enhancement and especially to control population.
Taru-Mitra - the world derived from Sanskrit means- friends of trees. Trees over which means life sustain in all fareness. A good and healthy life is always nourished by nature. Thus nature also needs care and nourishment to continue in plenty and to be the only plant where life in variety is found.
It is guided by animators from the past by dedicated sisters of holy cross and some active teachers. The nature loving students keep the surrounding clean here all round by their voluntary services and time to time send messages in the society through different programmes and achieve their goal to keep their city echo friendly and pollution free.
Students here are encouraged to take minimum but sure steps to love and serve their mother earth aesthetic spirit like-
- Planting trees on birthday.
- Avoiding polybags in casual use (daily needs)
- Minimizing the electricity power.
- Less eimition of carbon dioxide by keeping vehicles in good condition.
- Use of waste to create best etc.
Viewers are requested to join us indirectly but serving directly by taking into consideration at least two aforesaid steps to have earth and pray for long life for THE EARTH.
